国际肉类科技大会(International Congress of Meat Science and Technology,简称ICoMST)1954年起源于欧共体国家,大会常务秘书处设在芬兰赫尔辛基大学。随着全球肉类工业与科学技术的迅速发展,1988年这一地区性的科技会议已拓展为面向世界的全球性国际会议,这是世界肉类科技领域最具权威性的会议。
迄今为止,ICoMST已成功举办64次,第65届会议将于2019年8月4-9日在德国波茨坦/柏林举办,本届大会的主题是‘Meat for Diversifying Markets’,届时来自世界各地的肉类领域专家、科技工作者、企业家、管理人员及技术人员将齐聚一堂,共谋世界肉类工业与科学技术的发展和未来。望各位会员踊跃投稿,积极参与国际盛会。

Worldwide, meat and meat products are becoming an intrinsic part of evermore diversifying markets. With this in mind, we need to consider future scenarios concerning potential developments and options in a globalized world.
On one hand there are interventions from the political sphere but there is also a demand for innovation from within the meat sector itself. Will globalized free trade and digitalization have a significant impact on the meat industry? Will values such as regionalization and quality gain importance in the future? To what extent does consumer behaviour lead to market driven innovations? Is the meat sector able to push innovation on its own terms?
Therefore, the 65th International Congress of Meat Science and Technology 2019 in Potsdam/Berlin, Germany 04– 09 August 2019 is themed ‘Meat for Diversifying Markets’ and will deal with various main topics: consumer behaviour, ethics, microbiology, food safety, sustainability, muscle biology, metabolomics, animal welfare, emerging technologies, digitalization and recently emerging topics.
We look forward to seeing you at next year’s 65th ICoMST 2019 in Potsdam/Berlin.
